The CQI-15 Welding System Assessment (WSA) training provides a comprehensive overview of AIAG standards for automotive welding processes, focusing on self-assessment to ensure quality, reduce waste, and meet IATF 16949 requirements.  By utilizing knowledge you gain the benefits of consistent training and also develop a stable process to apply continuous improvement upon. This lays a solid foundation for any continuous improvement program.

Content

Session 1:  Introduction

Describe overview of CQI-15: Purpose, scope, and definition of special processes.

Session 2:  Terms and Definitions

Describe relevant terms and definitions that normally use in the IATF,CQI and related fields.

Session 3:  WSA Structure and Requirements

Describe WSA Structure Requirements to understand the Welding System Assessment.

Session 4:  Special Welding Process

Describe requirements for specific welding processes. Explain systematic process steps and provide understanding of problem solving for continual improvement.

Session 5:  Compliance Evaluation and Auditing

Describe Compliance Rating: Using the scoring system (Red, Yellow, Green) for assessment, determining compliance, and developing improvement plans.Explain Job Audit and Evaluation: Conducting and auditing specific welding jobs, including destructive and non-destructive testing. Understanding qualifications for internal and supplier auditors.

Basic knowledge in automotive quality system is necessary. Experience in welding process will be more benefit.
